One of Dahlia's favorite things...

is Photobooth.  She could take pictures for hours (hours in baby time is more than 10 minutes)!  She loves waving, and saying hi to her 'baby friend' (aka, herself).  She even says cheese at the right time!

oh yeah, and i cut my hair ;)
(as if that's not really what this post is about!)

And I'm ok with that!
This is also quickly turning into a baby blog.  That i'm not sure i'm so okay with!  haha.

And number 46

Bam.
Take that, LA.

Blog entry # 45

This is the first time Dahlia has had a bath in the 'big girl bathtub.'  We wanted to make it fun for her - like she was swimming.  So Ty got in there with her.  dahlia did not really know what to think of it.  At first she wouldn't even bend her little legs to sit down.

We went to the Los Angeles Temple.  It was so pretty, even though it was raining, and cold, and night time.  PS, the visitor's center there is a.m.a.z.i.n.g.

I think I'm gonna chop this hair of mine.
And bleach the you-know-what out of it.

And here's Dallie being colorful and cute.  As always =)

a baby, a broken rule, and a quick before and after

Bumbo time with Daddy!

I don't even know why this is a 'rule' of mine... but I usually steer clear of these super flared jeans with vans.  So, I got all crazy one night, and just went for it.  I know, right?!  Living so close to the edge!
This one's for you, elaine!
And then i was having so much fun with the tripod, that Dallie wanted in.  It took about 5 tries to get a photo of both of us.

m.i.a.

Tyson wrote this description of what has been happening to our little Dahlia for our family blog.  Here is why we have been missing in action.

This poor girl has had a tough time since her hemangioma (big, puffy birthmark) ulcerated almost two months ago. This happens to a very small percentage of babies. We've learned around 10% of babies get hemangioma s (which are benign; they run their course and go away over time) but an even smaller percentage of those babies have them ulcerate, which is, according to our pediatrician/dermatologist, one of the most painful things that can happen to a baby. It's up there with third degree burns... hence the "poor girl." After a lot of dr. visits and failed attempts at remedying her heartbreakingly painful condition we finally found an ointment used for diabetics with foot ulcers that seems to be doing the trick.
